Evolis Primacy 2 YMCKO Ribbon (R5F208M100) is a full-color, 5-panel ribbon—Yellow, Magenta, Cyan, Black (resin), and a clear Overlay—designed specifically for Evolis Primacy 2 (Simplex and Duplex) printers. Each panel is 98 mm long, and the overlay has a protective coating approximately 1.1 µm thick, offering strong defense against wear, scratching, and fading. It supports both single- and dual-sided printing on a wide range of cards—including PVC, composite PVC, PET, and rewritable types—using dye-sublimation for color and resin thermal transfer for black, with optimal print temperatures above 50 °C (122 °F).

Engineered with Evolis High Trust® quality standards, this ribbon delivers sharp, vibrant images capable of reproducing up to 16 million colors. It yields approximately 300 full-color prints per roll, making it suitable for medium to large print runs.

The protective overlay extends the life of printed cards up to three years, assuming normal use and handling. Supplied in an easy-to-install cassette format, it ensures hassle-free replacement while the printer’s back coating helps protect the print head and maintain consistent performance.
