Its IPS panel provides wide viewing angles, while the non-glare screen supports clear and vibrant content in different lighting conditions. Built for continuous 24/7 operation, the Samsung VM55B-U is a dependable solution for businesses that require high-impact visual communication and reliable commercial display performance.

Product Features

55-Inch Full HD Display

The 55-inch screen delivers Full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, providing detailed images, readable text, and clear video content. It is suitable for advertising, presentations, digital information boards, monitoring systems, and other professional display applications.

Ultra-Narrow 3.5 mm Bezel-to-Bezel Design

The narrow 3.5 mm bezel-to-bezel width reduces visible gaps between screens when multiple displays are installed together. This design helps create a more unified and immersive video wall for retail advertising, corporate communications, and control room monitoring.

500-Nit Brightness

With a rated maximum brightness of up to 500 nits, the Samsung VM55B-U helps keep images and messages visible in commercial indoor environments, including reception areas, shopping centres, meeting spaces, and public venues.

IPS Panel with Wide Viewing Angles

The IPS display panel provides horizontal and vertical viewing angles of 178 degrees. This allows viewers to see content clearly from different positions, making the display suitable for shared spaces and large audiences.

Non-Glare Screen

The screen features a non-glare surface with 25% glass haze to help reduce distracting reflections and maintain clear visuals under indoor lighting. This supports comfortable viewing in offices, retail outlets, and other commercial environments.

Designed for 24/7 Operation

The display supports continuous 24-hour, seven-day operation, making it suitable for applications that require content to remain visible throughout the day and night, such as control rooms, transport facilities, security monitoring areas, and digital signage installations.

Multiple Video and Control Connections

Samsung VM55B-U includes HDMI, DisplayPort, DVI, USB, RS-232, and RJ45 connectivity for integration with compatible media players, computers, video sources, and display control systems. DisplayPort video output supports daisy-chain installations, helping simplify signal distribution across compatible video wall configurations.

Central Infrared Receiver

The built-in central infrared receiver supports convenient remote control operation. This makes it easier to manage display settings during installation, maintenance, and daily use.

Slim Cabinet Design

With a cabinet depth of approximately 73.1 mm, the display offers a relatively slim profile for professional wall-mounted installations. Its VESA mounting compatibility supports integration into suitable commercial display mounting systems.

Dust-Resistant Construction

VM55B-U series has an IP5X dust-resistance rating, helping protect the display against dust ingress under specified test conditions. This is useful for commercial installations where dust management is an important consideration.
