Product Features

49-Inch Curved QD-OLED Display

The 49-inch QD-OLED screen combines OLED contrast with Quantum Dot colour technology to deliver rich colours, deep blacks, and detailed images. Its expansive display provides a panoramic viewing experience for gaming, simulation, entertainment, and multitasking.

Dual QHD Resolution

The 5120 × 1440 Dual QHD resolution provides a wide workspace with two QHD-width viewing areas side by side. The 32:9 aspect ratio is useful for compatible games and applications, allowing you to view more content without needing two separate monitors. This resolution is DQHD rather than standard 16:9 4K UHD.

1800R Curved Screen

The 1800R curvature creates a wraparound viewing experience that helps bring the edges of the wide display closer to your field of vision. This design is particularly suitable for racing games, flight simulators, open-world games, and immersive entertainment.

240Hz Refresh Rate

The 240Hz refresh rate delivers smooth motion and rapid screen updates during fast-paced gameplay. It is ideal for competitive gaming, where fluid movement and quick visual feedback can make a difference. Achieving the maximum refresh rate depends on the connected device, supported connection, and display settings.

0.03ms GtG Response Time

The ultra-fast 0.03ms grey-to-grey response time helps minimise pixel transition delays and motion blur. This supports clear tracking of fast-moving objects and responsive gameplay in demanding gaming environments.

OLED Glare Free Technology

Samsung’s OLED Glare Free technology reduces reflections from external light sources, helping maintain visibility in different lighting conditions. This allows the screen’s deep blacks and vibrant colours to remain more noticeable when gaming or viewing content in a bright room.

HDR10 and HDR10+ Gaming

HDR10 support and HDR10+ Gaming enhance compatible content with improved tonal detail and scene-based brightness adjustments. Supported games can deliver more nuanced highlights and shadows, depending on the source content and settings.

1,000,000:1 Contrast Ratio

The QD-OLED panel provides a typical static contrast ratio of 1,000,000:1. Because OLED pixels can produce deep blacks, the display offers strong contrast between dark and bright areas, helping gaming environments and cinematic content appear more detailed.

99% DCI-P3 Colour Coverage

With up to 99% DCI-P3 colour coverage, the monitor displays a broad range of colours for gaming, movies, and digital content. Quantum Dot colour technology supports vivid colour reproduction, while factory tuning and a factory calibration report help maintain colour consistency.

AMD FreeSync Premium Pro

AMD FreeSync Premium Pro synchronises the monitor’s refresh rate with compatible graphics hardware to help reduce screen tearing and stuttering. It also supports compatible HDR gaming for a smoother and more consistent visual experience.

NVIDIA G-Sync Compatibility

NVIDIA G-Sync compatibility helps coordinate the display refresh rate with compatible NVIDIA graphics cards. This reduces tearing and visual stuttering when frame rates change during gameplay.

Black Equalizer and Virtual Aim Point

Black Equalizer adjusts visibility in dark gaming scenes to help reveal objects and movement in shadowed areas. Virtual Aim Point provides an on-screen aiming reticle for compatible games where precise targeting is useful.

CoreSync and Core Lighting+

CoreSync synchronises compatible on-screen colours with lighting effects around the monitor to create a more immersive gaming setup. Core Lighting+ adds rear lighting that complements the monitor’s appearance and gaming environment.

Picture-by-Picture and Picture-in-Picture

Picture-by-Picture allows content from two connected sources to be displayed side by side. Picture-in-Picture displays a secondary source in a smaller window, helping users monitor another device while gaming or working.

Auto Source Switch+

Auto Source Switch+ detects an active connected source and switches to it automatically. This feature simplifies switching between compatible gaming systems and computers.

USB-C Data Connectivity

The monitor includes a USB-C upstream connection for data and two USB-C downstream ports for compatible peripherals. The USB-C upstream port is data-only and does not provide USB-C video input, so display signals should be connected through the supported HDMI, Micro HDMI, or DisplayPort inputs.

Ergonomic Adjustable Stand

The height-adjustable stand supports approximately 120mm of height adjustment and tilt positioning, helping users find a comfortable viewing angle. VESA 100 × 100mm mounting also allows installation on compatible monitor arms or wall mounts.

Eye Saver Mode and Flicker-Free Technology

Eye Saver Mode reduces blue-light output, while Flicker-Free technology helps minimise screen flicker. These features are designed to support viewing comfort during extended gaming and computer use.
